To anyone that reads my profile. I would love to have the surgery. But there is no way possible. On March 15, 1999 my husband (Randy Primeaux) had the surgery and passed away on April 12,1999. Due to complications from the surgery. He had a leak, they went back into surgery to repair the leak. Was still leaking after the second surgery. They were waiting for the leak to heal on it's own. 3 days before he passed away. The doctor realized that they forgot to put husband on blood thinners, or the SCD's. Randy stayed in the hospital for 28 days. His dream was to have this surgery, and to be treated like a normal person. I backed him 100 percent, and if I had a chance to do it again. I would still back him. I have been a member of this site for almost 4 years. I am proud to say that I have been an Angel for a few, and I hope to continue.... Dear Kathy, Thanks for e-mailing me with your support in my WLS. It's not as hard as I thought it would be, but boy, do I miss Taco Bell (<---only 3 weeks post-op). Good luck in your journey and please let me know if there's anything I can ever help you with!
