"I first met him at the informative group meeting. His staff and a speaker was present. I instantly felt that he was a very caring, kind, & knowledgeable surgeon. I wasn't thrilled about the expense associated that insurance does not pay for but after going through this for 2 months I do understand. He does require joining a gym which is part of the expensive but I am kind of glad now. I am now scheduled for surgery on 3/12/07 exactly 2 months from the time of my 1st appointment. Very quick!! Staff is very kind but I did have to keep on top of them. But I do understand they have a lot of patients and are currently functioning out of 2 offices. My last appointment with him confirmed that he does listen and give you the time to voice any concerns. Will update more after surgery! Surgery was 3 days ago. All has been going well seen MD 2 times a day in hospital along with his own special bariatrics nurse. Riverside nursing was not the best but MD and his direct staff were wonderful."
