Stacy, I can totally understand where you are standing.. You have to have a life to.. outside the family.. just give it to him straight and let him deal with it.. I know it is easy for me to say but you need outside interest.. I am 60 y/0 and I am finally getting where I can get back to being a person.. The person God meant me to be.. Hang in there gal.. it may not get easier quickly but God will be with you.. Hugs from one wls to another

Stacy, I'm sorry you're going through a rough time right now. I have a husband who is feeling the same way. I have lost 72 pounds and have about 90 more to go, and he's already feeling jealous. He thinks I'm going to leave him when I get thinner. I told him he's making me feel like I have to defend myself for something that's never going to happen. Have you tried counseling? We went for a while, until our finances started to dwindle, and things are better. Please let me know how you are doing. I am concerned about your (since we're both going through the same thing). I wish you the best.

Stacy, I'm wondering if the weeks of diarrhea are affecting your electrolytes. I've always been told (even before WLS) to get diarrhea checked out if it lasts more than a couple days. I think you should check in with your doc and perhaps get some blood work. (Such a mama hen here, sorry!)

Stacy, I wanted to thank you for your post on the board about how we can impact others when we least expect it. You always make such an effort to help others and it warms my heart to be a part of the same board as you. By the way, you are totally right. On an parenting after infertility board I used to post to, a woman had the same terrifying experience I did with not knowing if the pregnancy was a blighted ovum for a period of a couple weeks. Our experiences were identical and I shared mine with her (my daughter was born from mine). Anyway, we emailed several times a day and it was such a privilege to share her experience with her. She named her daughter after me, which was incredible. I cried when she emailed me. :)

Dear Stacy, You look fabulous and I know the feeling of not realizing it is me in the mirror. Isn't it wonderful to be normal? May God continue to bless us both. Hugs Janice
