"My first impression of Dr. Wood was that he was a friendly Doctor. He was also VERY knowledgeable. I nicknamed him "My favorite surgeon in the whole wide world!" He is just a good person who is good at what he does. His office staff have been really good to me. One of the best office members is Rachel (Dietician). She is so easy to get to talk to and she is very empathetic and understanding whenever I ask her a question.
I feel that I couldn't have found a better Doctors group then what I found. I have so much faith and trust in what they do.
Dr. Wood does let you know of all the risks involved. He informs his patients and double checks to make sure that you understand all of the risks. The group rate I would give them is a 9. I feel that both of Dr. Woods surgical competence and bedside manner are also 10's. The only things I didn't like was that when I called the office it was hard for me to get ahold of certain people. It's kind of like phone tag. And sometimes someone was on vacation and they didn't tell me until after I got a hold of someone else. That does get a little frustrating.
