Its been awhile

Hey everyone! It has been awhile since I have posted. Sorry. I am doing good. Things are so much better now. I am down 33lbs since the start of the whole process and 23 since the surgery. Not bad for a month I dont think. I go for my first fill on the 9th of July and I cant wait for that. There is much resistance now, I just watch my intake and what I eat. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you all soon.

Well my doctors appointment on Wednesday went great. My scale was right on with theirs. I lost 18lbs. They took out my staples as well and let me tell you, I felt and feel WONDERFUL. Those staples are HORRIBLE. I cant believe how bad they made me feel. Those are going great with me. I have my first fill on July 9th. WOOT WOOT. Anyway, I just wanted to update you all.

I have talked to a few people on here and they are telling me how much they are losing and ask me and I think...hmmmm...I dont know. I dont have a scale. Then I said to myself.."self, if you dont have a scale how are you going to keep up with weight loss? Doctors appointments arent going to be weekly." soooo myself said.. GO BUY A SCALE... hahaha So thats what I did. I got the second to the most expensive one at Wally World. Its pretty nice, it does your body fat and all that good stuff. Well anyway. ACCORDING to the scale I got, it says that I am 321. Which means, right before I went into surgery I was 338 so I have lost 17lbs. That is amazing. I go to see my doctor on Wednesday so I will update to how close my new scale truely is. Have a Happy Memorial Day...

3 Days Out

So it has been three days since the surgery and guys Im not doing to well. The broth and liquids are really starting to get to me. I really want anything like oatmeal, cream of wheat, anything but broth. I am going crazy. I hear stories from others that they are doing great have engery and out doing things. Im not. I am tired and get lightheaded, its hurts under my ribs, it hurts to take deep breaths, I have staples so they dont feel to well. Its crazy. Any words of advice for me? I will take anything right now.

It's Done...

I did it, I had the surgery. I was so nervous but things went very well. I was sore for the past two days but feeling a little better today. I finally got to shower and that made me feel tons better. Over all the surgery was great. I have a real bad headache right now but scared to take anything for it. I dont want any pills to get stuck. I am excited that it is over with and I can start on the path to a new and healthier me. Thanks for all the kind words before my surgery that helped out alot. Crazy thing I found out the night before my surgery is that my childhood friend that lives thousands of miles away had the same surgery as me on the same day. That was so wild. I had mine first so my husband texted her to let her know that I was ok and that things went well. I was able to ease her mind before her surgery. What a wonderful feeling. Tomorrow

Well my surgery is tomorrow and I am going crazy. I am scared, excited, nervous...you name it, thats me. I am so emotional. I am happy and then crying. I cant believe Im doing this. I keep telling everyone that I am fine and I am not scared at all but as I sit here and have nothing to do but think, then I am freaking out.. lol Anyway I hope you all pray for me. I am know I will be fine.

Went well. I have been on my pre op diet for two weeks, I repeat two weeks and I lost 10 lbs can you believe it? I cant that is amazing for me. I am soooo happy, I cant believe it. So unreal. Besides that, the meeting went well. We talked about what was going to happen and he asked which band I wanted. I told him it really didnt matter. He said they were both about the same. My tests that I took on Friday were not ready yet, so we werent able to go over that part. Anyway it all went well and I am ready for surgery. I cant wait.
A week away

I am a week away from my surgery. Getting nervous everyday. This may not sound good, but I am really scared that they will get in and say my lever isnt small enough to do the surgery. The reason I say this is because, unlike most, I wasnt on my preop for 4 weeks. I was only on it for 2 and a half. They got a response back saying I was approved and wanted to move fast with the surgery. I started my process Feb 07. I went to a few appointments, and then I got kidney stones. I had to have several surgerys which took me out for a while. I started back Jan 08, and its finally my time. I havent cheated at all. Most nights I will eat a weight watchers meal just so I will be ready. I pray that I things will go well.
