I had gastric banding on June 3rd at St Frances Hopsital by Dr Wynn. It is only a week and a half out and I am feeling better already. I started my intial weight at 294 with getting down to 288 prior to surgery. Today I am 278. Even though it has been hard at times, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was hard to get the 64ounces of fluid and 64 grams of protein in daily  at first, but I am doing it now and I have so much more energy and life. My knees, which were giving me a lot of trouble before surgery, are almost pain free. I am enjoying my walks and my life so much better!
