It's been  almost 6 months since the surgery and I'm down 130 pounds !!!  This has been a god-send. I'm now healthier  than I was at 18 years old !!

I had my lap by-pass surgery on April 21st of this year. Just ten hours after my surgery, things went very wrong ! My blood pressure dropped so low that the nurses could not get it to register. Then my heart rate went dangerously high. I was then rushed back into surgery to save my life from a massive internal bleed ( 1.5) liters.  Thank God my surgeon is a wonderful , and skilled man. Between him and the Good Lord, they pulled me through.

It has now been three weeks and I have had no more complications. The surgery has been a blessing ,even though it nearly took my life. I instantly was able to stop taking all meds. In three short weeks I have lost 43 lbs !!!!!   The upside of the surgery far exceeds the risks. I can say that  because I was the worst case scenario .

Today I made my initial call to both the insurance company, as well as, a recommended bariatric surgeon.  Here we go into the unknown !
