Time is really sneaking up on me, I only have 9 days left and then my life changes. I am starting the liquid diet (totally sucks) but as I do this I just feel the need to say good bye to my constant friend over the past 25 years. It has seen me through everything, from my parents divorce to losing my first love, to the birth of my first son and to the loss of my grandma.  I am surely going to miss it, I know that we will never have the same relationship that we had before, and for once I am ok with it.  I truely feel ready to go on with my NEW life without it.  We will never enjoy things like we did before and I have finally accepted that. I will sure miss the times that we had together but it is for the best.  So Good Bye my dear friend and I will see you on the other side!!!

Since I am new to this, I guess that I will keep updating my journey into this exciting time.  I am about 5 weeks from my surgery date and I am very excited and nervous all at the same time.  It just seems that there is so much to do and it doesnt seem like enough time to do it in.  Since I am going south of the border to have my surgery I am in need of a passport. Just got the guildlines for my pre-op diet. Just lovely. But you know what its the sacrifice that I am willing to make to be happy and enjoy the time that I have with my kids... Well here it is to a new me.. Only 38 more days to a new me!!!!
