And so my journey begins. Got a call yesterday I was approved!!! Im so happy. My date for my life to change is August 1st. I meet with Dr on the 24th. Started my pre op liquid diet today. I am hungery and tired of going to the bathroom so much!!! LOL I am happy, excited, scared, all miked together. My DH is the best he is behind me every step of the way. He is scared but happy for me. And so my life begins again..........
Started my mushie stage today. I had 2 table spoons of humus and creamed soupmmmmmmmmmmm was that good I had 2 boosts protein drinks also. Tomorrow I think I am having a soft scrambled egg for breakfast, a yogert for lunch and for dinner i had fat free refried beens with LF cheese and FF sour cream. Life is good again...... I can do this and eat like this till Oct 8th when I get my first fill. People in the neighborhood are noticing I am loosing weight. I am very happy and love my band!!!30lbs so far :) to be continued
Hi everyone and Happy Holidays. Well this was a very hard month (Dec) as it comes closer to Christmas my school looks like a bakery. I have not had any (not even a crumb ) of the cookies. It has paid off becuase I have been at a plateu for 2 weeks and ths week the scale moved. I hit 55lbs!!!! I am so happy. I uped my exercise and started doing low carb slim fast for breakfast, something small for lunch and a meat of some kind for protein for dinner. I know the week I am on vacation is going to be hard but now that the scale is moving again I can do this!!! My son came home from collage and noticed right away how much less I am eating and how good I look. I am now in a good frame of mind and its nice to get compliments. Its even more fun going shopping. I am due for a fill the 3rd week in january. It will be my third fill and so far I have 3ccs ( I think) in my 10cc band.
