Desirae Lorene was born September 3rd and is beautiful!!! She was 8 lbs 4 ozs and 21 1/2 in long!!

9 month check-up

I had my 9 mth check-up Thursday and all is well! Dr. Bour says I am doing great and right on track with my weight loss. I did better this 3 months than last 3 months. I need to keep doing what I am doing. I weighed 184 lbs, so that means I have lost 100 lbs!! Only 30 more to go to get to my goal weight...
Informational Meeting

Last Thursday, I was the post-op model for the informational meeting at Dr. Bour's office, I was so nervous, but it went well. They asked lots of good questions. Several said my before picture looked like a completely different person!

6 mth check up

I saw Dr. Scott for my 6 month check-up 1 1/2 weeks ago. He said I was right on the curve. I have lost 58 lbs since surgery and need to lose about 45 more lbs. I hope to meet my goal by my 1 year mark! I am FINALLY under 200!!

Met with Dr. Bour last week for my 3 month check-up. He says I am right on schedule. I have lost 41 lbs since surgery!! I weigh less than my son...now my goal is to be below 200!

Solid Food

Solid food at last! I am so excited about the protein bars! I only lost 1/2 lb this week, but Cammy says I am doing good. Total weight loss since surgery 24 lbs!!
Soft diet

I advanced to soft foods last week and was so excited for solid foods. However, I have a food intolerance to fish and broccoli. I had not gotten sick at all until this week. Oh well, hopefully I will learn what I can and can't eat, even if it is the hard way. I have lost 23 1/2 lbs since surgery (6 weeks)! Looking forward to new diet next week...
