I had a gastric bypass surgery in 5/80 last 110 lbs and have regained it all. After being on medifast in '89 and loosing it all again and then regaining it all again. i began researching having a revision and doing it right this time. When i had it done in 1980 we were thrown to the wolves, no help , no guidelines, no what to do so i guess that was one of the reasons it failed that and that the anastamosis site enlarged and i can again eat all i want. after looking into this for 5 years i found Dr BEssler who believes i will do well with the lap band surgery, i did all my pre op work got my approval from the insurance company and now i go in 2 weeks to meet with the doc again and get an OR date, I am soooooooo excited. this time i am into this with eyes wide open and i need all the help and support i can get. its do or die time. I MUST succeed this time . I look forward to all the help i can get
