George R. Merriman II
" Dr. Kenneth Jones did my RNY February 13th, 1998. He is great, but I later went to Dr. Merriman for hernia repair with skin removal in June of 2004. I had been working with his Nutritionist, Lisa Stansbury at Christus Schumpert Bariatric Health Center. I quickly learned that Dr. Merriman is interested not only in the surgery, but long term aftercare. Long term support is essential in my opinion for long term success. Believe me, at almost 8 years post op, it can be very difficult to keep the weight down. I would rate Dr. Merriman and his staff very highly. If you are looking for Bariatric Surgery and long term help and support, you are in the right place. He works with Alycia Bellah, LPC that is also invaluable to his practice. She also has had gastric bypass and usually oversees his support groups. You will always walk away from a meeting feeling like you have learned something that will help keep you headed in the right direction. "
