Can't Update My Story, So Here It Is...
Jan 08, 2010
I Don't know why I can't put the rest of "MY STORY" In My story So I'll Just Post it here...
January 2006
Here it is, almost 2 years later and things are going great. I have maintained my weightloss and my weight stays in between 132-138, I'm happy with that. I never thought that things would have gone so great for me. I'm still so greatful for this surgery. 2 years later and my tool is still working great. I still dump on different things all the time, thats what keeps me in check. I've been wearing size small-xsmall, or 3-5 jeans and small and medium tops. I love it. My tummy tuck has healed great and i'm very satisfied with the results. Other than the surgery, things have been ok... My marriage has been pretty rocky. My husband and I both had the surgery so there has been ALOT of changes in the both of us. That has made things pretty hard on us. My husband has lost 175lbs and looks incredible... My children are also doing great, they are growing so quickly. I started school in December for Medical assistant, and I love it. I'm so glad to finally be back out in the world and living a normal life. I'll be finished with school in August 06 and ready for the work field. I can't wait. I'm so happy. So anyways, thats it for now. I haven't updated in sooooo long, Its time I finally did. :) Happy New Year Everyone!!! Take care!

WOW, It's been a really long time since I've updated any information... Well I'm almost 6 years post-op (will be in March) and I must say I'm doing very well. I have been able to keep the weight off with out to much troubles.. Of course over the years I've gained a few pounds here and there but I've always been able to lose it again. Thank God! I'd say my biggest gain had to be almost 20 lbs which really Isn't to bad but of course I was freaking out. I got scared, but I was able to calm myself and do what I had to do to get them pounds back off again. I was back to basics, protein, protein and more protein. And soon enough I was back to where I wanted to be and I still am. This past weight gain though wasn't as easy to lose as the others, It came off a lot slower which I guess is to be expected. It did teach me a lesson though and that was that it is not impossible to gain the weight back because it sure is!! Well, anyways almost 6 years later and I couldn't be happier. I'm grateful everyday for having had the opportunity to have the gastric bypass and for having such a wonderful surgeon who made it all happen. I've had some bumps on the road through my journey but have always been able to pave them and make things smooth again. Through all the good & bad times I've had these past years I would turn around and do it all over again! Well I wish you all the best on your journies and here's to 2010 and making this year better than last!!
