9 Month Bandiversary
Jan 14, 2009
9 months have passed since my surgery. Wow! I can't believe it. A lot has happened in that time, both good and bad.My weight is still remaining at a stand still despite my increased exercise. This is the first time in my life that I have trainers and instructors that know who I am at the gym (except for when I used to work at a gym many years ago). That should tell you how much time I am spending there since being laid off in November. Wish the scale reflected my time committed.
I need to buckle down and stop eating crap, like ice cream. I thought the cravings would go away with the summer heat, wrong. It doesn't help that the temps have been in the 60's and 70's this week.
I went in for my doctors appointment last week. I was up two pounds since my last appointment in November. I had a little breakdown in the office but was reassured that my loss was on track and my doc was happy with my progress. I wasn't convinced.
I am currently at 5 1/2 cc's after having 1/2 cc removed in November when I had a fill that was too much for me. I'm in size 16 jeans and have a pair of 14's standing by that I try to get on every couple weeks or so. I got rid of more clothes recently. Mostly old t shirts that have been hanging around. They are way too big now. Now there's more room in the closet for the new stuff that I've aquired with the after X-mas sales.
I'm still unemployed and searching for work. Ugh! So frustrating.
