I WAS HOME BORED...NOTHING TO DO....SO I DECIDE TO DO IT.....I SAID TO MYSELF...SELF....GO WALK YOUR DOG....LOL.....THEN I WAS LIKE SELF SEE HOW FAR YOU CAN WALK YOUR DOG TONIGHT !....I WAS ABLE TO TAKE HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE CORNER AND BACK...AND WHEN I GOT BACK TO MY FRONT DOOR...I WAS NOT OUT OF BREATH.....I WAS'NT EVEN SWEATING....I ACCOMPLISH SOMTHING THAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO AND THAT WAS TO WALK MY DOG AND I DID IT !

THE GOOD THING IS THAT IM ABLE TO HOLD FOOD DOWN , I DO HAVE MY DAYS WERE I HAVE ATE TOO MUCH AND I GET OCCASSIONAL GAS PAINS IN MY BACK AND MY ACID REFLUX HAS GOTTEN BETTER.....I DONT THROW UP LIKE I USE TO , I STILL MONITOR MY PORTIONS SIZES....I HAVE NOT WEIGHED MYSELF...SINCE MY LAST POST I WILL SURLEY UPDATE ONCE I HAVE MY VISIT WITH THE DOC THIS MONTH , I'VE BEEN SO BUSY I HAVE  NOT BEEN TO THE GYM, BUT I WILL BE BACK SOON HOFULLY AND THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS, I STILL DO MY DANCING IN MY LIVING ROOM....I SUGGEST THAT TO ANYONE WHO HAS TRBL STANDING GET YOU A GOOD CHAIR AND GO TO WORK...I DID IT TONIGHT FOR @ LEAST 45MINS TONIGHT IT REALLY WORKS UP A SWEAT...ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE A GOOD PLAYLIST ! WHEN MY SCHEDULE ALLOWS ME IM GONNA GO TO A SUPPORT GROUP MEETING ! TILL NEXT TIME SLEEVERS I WISH YOU ALL SUCCESS ON YOUR JOURNEYS TO BECOMING A BETTER YOU ! :)

MY 1ST VACATION AFTER SURGERY !

WELL I MUST SAY IT WAS'NT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE , I WENT ON A CRUISE AND I CAN NO LONGER ATTACK A BUFFET LINE LIKE I USE TOO ! THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME I WENT ON A CRUISE AFTER SURGERY AND I DID'NT HAVE 2NDS....I BARLEY FINISH MY 1ST....I ALSO DID'NT ASK FOR REFILLS ...ALL AND ALL THIS LET ME KNOW IM BECOMING A BETTER ME , UNFORTUNALTY I HAV'NT BEEN ABLE TO WORK OUT DUE TO MY 2ND JOB I HAVE...BUT I DO DANCE I WOULD TURN MY MUSIC ON AND DANCE FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES IN MY LIVING ROOM....LOL.....I DID ATE SOMTHING I SHOULD'NT HAVE ATE...WHICH WAS A VEGATABLE FRITTER....IT WAS FRIED AND I SHLD HAVE STAYED AWAY FROM IT...I DID GET SICK...AND THREW UP BUT I FELT BETTER BY THE NEXT MORNING RIGHT ON TIME FOR NASSAU, BAHAMAS ! WHAT I DID TRY FOR THE 1ST TIME WAS A VEGGIE BURGER....IT TASTED GREAT I MADE ME A MIXTURE OF MUSTARD/MAYO/KETCHUP....HOW EVER I COULD NOT FINISH I WAS ABLE TO EAT HALF AND WAS FULL ! THE HARDEST THING TO THIS DAY IS WAITING TO DRINK AFTER EATING. I DEFINITLY GOT MY EXERCISE IN....CUZ I DID ALOT OF WALKING ! OVERALL IM STILL LOSING AND DOING MUCH BETTER I STILL HAVE A WAYS TO GO BUT I KNOW IM GONNA GET THERE !

My Update and Im pleased with results !

Hi sleever's I know with my last post a few weeks ago I was in the hospital , since then I have been doing great and feeling better ! I'm still maintaing the same diet*with banana's included* , although I've added a snack food that I THINK its okay which are the keebler 100 calorie cookie snack which come in bags thats less than 1oz....but the good thing on that is that is that I dont eat a pack everyday.....its like i'll grab a bag when I remember...so a box of 6 can last me 2wks...last box did ! I also am pleased to say the weight is still coming off , last time I was weighed i was @ my doctors office this was  a week ago and I was 274lbs and as of today I'm 269.6lbs , I've up loaded a most recent picture of myself I've come down a long way with more to go , I've also joined the gym as well to help me succeed with my weight loss , because I KNOW THE VSG IS A TOOL , and work has to be put into maintain the weightloss . I have gotten better as far as holden down food able to eat a lil more....and not as food as in different foods....I still weigh everything , Its like compulsive to me I will put the food on plate then put plate on scale and I drink ALOT of WATER !

BANANA'S !!!!!!! Im currently in the hospital , but hoping to soon come home today , this time it was for extreme low pottasium levels , which have since been brought back up by several bags of pottassium given to me through I.V. .....Like I had an pottasium infusion , its not like I dont even fruit just really never cared for banana's but boy do I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT it will be for me know to eat an banana @ least every day ! Overall I've been doing great dispite my stroke scare on thursday , I have not been doing my weekly weigh in due to me exersicing and trying to eat right I have'nt given myself a goal but will weigh my self in a next few weeks just to see how far I have come , till next time I wish everyone continued success with there journeys .

I HAVE JOINED THE GYM !!!! , WOW I HAV'NT WORKED OUT IN SO LONG IM REALLY FEELING IT TONIGHT, I WAS SO EXCITED TO JOIN , AND I GOT A GOOD WORK OUT IN , I STAYED FOR AN HOUR AND DID SOME OF EVERYTHING, THAT IM NOW STARTING TO FEEL AS I TYPE....LOL , MY EATING HABITS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AND I HAVE BEEN MAINTAING THE SAME WEIGHT...ALTHOUGH I DONT LIKE THE FACT THE DOCTOR OFFICE SCALE ALWAYS SEEM TO WEIGH YOU DIFFERENT ! BUT I KNOW NOT TO LET THAT DRIVE ME CRAZY , TILL NEXT TIME SLEEVERS AND LAPPER'S HOPE ALL IS WELL FOR YOU AND I WISH YOU LUCK ON BEGINING YOUR JOURNEYS TO A NEW BETTER YOU !

MY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND !

I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HARD TO BE AROUND ALOT OF FOOD THAT I COULD NOT EAT , ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR VISITING FAMILY OUT OF TOWN, BUT I ACTUALLY DID GOOD ! I COULD NOT EAT A WHOLE RIB, I HAD A VERY SMALL PIECE, A TABLE SPOON OF MASH POTATOES , AND SOME STRINGBEANS . I LATER HAD TO  TEA SPOONS OF BAKE BEANS WHICH WAS A COUPLE OF HOURS LATE WITH ANOTHER SMALL PIECE OF MEAT, WHILE HERE IN THE COUNTRY ON VACATION I DID GET IN MY MORNING WARM UP'S. TILL NEXT POST I HOPE ALL CONTINUE SUCCESS WITH YOUR JOURNEYS TO A BETTER YOU !

IM LATE WITH THE NORMAL WEEKLY WEIGH IN , BUT AS I WAS READING SOMEONE ELSES POST...IM GOING TO RETIRE MY SCALE FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS WORK ON DOING MORE EXCERSIE AND EATING RIGHT MY LAST WEIGH IN FOR THIS WEEK WAS 287.3lbs !!! I'VE COME ALONG WAY FROM BEING 410lbs BUT I STILL HAVE A WAYS TO GO , IM SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL I WAS ABLE TO GET THIS TOOL, YES I CALLED IT A TOOL BECAUSE ITS A TOOL THAT HELPS YOU LOSE WEIGHT BUT I KNOW I HAVE TO PUT IN THE EXTRA EFFORT TO KEEP IT OFF AND I HAVE GIVEN AWAY 3 FULL BAGS OF CLOTHES WORKING ON MY 4TH BAG AND IM NOT LOOKING BACK ! I WILL STILL CONTINUE TO BLOG AS I CAN TO GIVE UPDATES AND POSITIVE FEEDBACK, TILL THEN WISH ME LUCK AND G'LUCK TO ALL YOU SLEEVER'S AND WLS PATIENTS WHO ARE ON YOUR WAY ARE TRYING TO GET THERE ON AN HEALTHIER NEW YOU !

WEEKLY WEIGH IN...IM IN MY 2'SSSSSS

Well my scale was playin tricks with me this week, so I'll weigh in next week ! I have noticed eating 4-5 small meals a day has helped me out alot, not as much naseau, my doct. prescibe me somthing that is working well for me at this time , I plan on buying a stationary pedler bike to intensify my work out , I decided to do this journey so I have to keep going in the right direction definitly will not see myself as i was 3 months ago till next time sleevers I wish everyone continued sucess on there journeys .
