Well My story is pretty basic I was the all around "chubby" kid. I have always been bigger than most kids my age ,and that still applies. I have two obese parents so I guess my genes did the deciding even before I could choose what I wanted. When I was a child my size (in the womens department) went up with my age when
I was 10 I wore a 10, when I was 12 I wore a twelve, at 18 I wore a 18 until the Depo shot. My weight has never been under control but the depo provera birth control shot made it significantly worse and started PCOS symptoms in my body. I dont know when I started being insulin resistant but as far as I can remember my neck has been black (its kinda a trademark of mine I have it as far back on pictures as sixth grade). My mother had the surgery about 5 years ago and I watched her progress and I belive that wls is right for me.  I begin researching the surgery and I stumbled opon this site and it is a godsend I have recieved info on here i never could expect to belive. I belive my life would be better after wls, but planning wls in college is very difficult!! So I am very optimistic!!
All things can happen through prayer!!
