I was always EXTREMELY skeptical about the idea of weight loss surgery and changing your body but after years of dieting and failing I began to realize I had no other options!  My mother died at the age of 50 and her mom died in her early 60's and all as a result of complications from obesity.  My mom was about 400lbs give or take a few.  In the past few years the world has become much more accomodating for obese patients.  When my mother was in the hospital they never had appropriate beds and always only had one scale that could weigh her and it was operated by a hoyer life (now thats INSANE!!)  I am hoping to be approved for surgery soon because for me this is going to be a time to completely change my life and hopefully the life of my children etc.
