Hi Joyce, Dr. Anez is also my doctor and I think he's great! He doesn't say a whole lot but will answer all your questions freely and he is VERY EXPERIENCED. His staff is helpful but seems overworked and the office is always crowded; be ready for at least a 15-30 min. delay. I had my surgery Dec. 6, 2001 and started out at 336 and am currently at 214 (after gaining some weight on the BCP). I'm finally off it and hope to make it to my goal of 150 within the next 6 mos. or so. It's amazing what this surgery will do for us if we use our new tool. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS! HI JOYCE - I am one of Dr. Anez success stories - Had my open RNY on 5/20/02, starting at 333; last Monday, my 8-month anniversary, I was down 118 pounds to 215 !!
