"Dr. Champion was very nice with a very caring attitude. He is and will always be one of the most professional physicians I have met. His staff was very knowledgeable and competent each time I called his office. They were always very pleasant and helpful. There is not another physician I would have considered for my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone who is seeking wls. His schedule is usually pretty full so I would suggest making your appointment as soon as you have decided to have wls. He has a local support group and also an internet one. He went over all risks completely before the surgery with me, explaining everything in great detail. I would rate him as the best surgeon available to us. Surgical competence is much more a concern than "bedside manner" but fortunately his patients get both!
