Lisa, I just started the process with Kaiser Riverside and I'm excited that you got approved. When did you start the process? Oh, and my story about "snooty nutritionists". I've been on Optifast twice through Kaiser, failed both times. The first meeting the first time the counsellor, a tall, extremely thin, elderly lady declared solemnly, "I understand how weight is a concern to you. All my life I've been tall and thin; but that's my cross to bear." We just about threw something at her.

Lisa, It always thrills me to see another person work themselves through the Kaiser system... I don't think that you are allowed to work at Kaiser and be pro-WLS, and every nutritionist I've ever had there have weighed 98lbs and been snotty anti-WLS food nazi's!!! So, good for you to get this far! I've been playing their game for 14 months and next Monday it will finally be my turn. I wish you all the best... I look forward to an update soon!
