Amy Elizabeth Martin
"Dr Martin was very knowledgable and straight forward. SHe was 7-8 months pregnant when she did my surgery but she couldn't have done a better job with me. She is very blunt and honest so I would advise anyone who utilized her as a surgeon to be prepared for raw honesty. She is very sweet also. I have only seen Dr Martin once since my surgery in March 2004. One of Dr Martin's receptionists is EXTREMELY rude and nasty (and I am not the only patient who has had this complaint) but the rest of the staff more than makes up for her rude attitude. I don't have any negative comments about Dr Martin. She highly emphasized exercising and eating as she requested but she also encouraged me and gave me hop to know that I could do it. She does have a structure before and after care program. She was very honest about the risks of surgery and described the severity of the surgery as being comparable to open heart surgry. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Dr. Martin a 9. Both beside manner and competance were great."
