Just checking in guys....
Its been well over a year and I've hit a my goal and then some.
Currently at 135lbs, feeling great and enjoying my new body.
Looking into some plastic suregery, but I am a little hesitant.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Overall this past year has been an amazing journey!
I've learned a lot of things about myself and other people.
WLS is absolutely the best thing I have ever done for myself!

 Well it been a year since my surgery... feeling great and 112 lbs lighter!!! 
Its been quite a journey this last year but i have rediscovered loving myself and finally being happy.
I continue to work hard everyday but everything has been well worth it. Lovin life!!!! 

 OMG...could it really be? Onederland? Me?
I can not even remember that last time I saw my weight start with a 1 on the scale.
Currently I am at 195...Woo Hoo!!! 
I was so happy when I saw that on the scale that my eyes literally were filling with tears.
Wow, this just gives me even more motivation towards my goal.
35 more pounds to go!

 I know I have been MIA for a while, but here is a quick update....It's been a little over 3 1/2 months since my surgery and I'm feeling great. I'm down a little over 55 lbs and down three pant sizes   :)
I have to post some recent pics as soon as I can...
Luckily i am not having much trouble as far as post surgery goes.
I take one day at a time and listen to my body now more than ever. As far as what I could handle eating and when I'm full etc...
I still have about 40 more lbs to go. Fingers crossed I will reach my goal and feel even more fabulous!

My vacation is coming to an end. I go back to work this coming Monday. I'm feeling pretty ok since my surgery. I've been really luck so far in keeping things down and getting used to my new life. I am learning slowly but surely how to adjust to my vitamins, liquids, and protein. Who ever said this was the "easy way out" has no idea what we go through. Surgery and life after wards is not easy by any means. It is definitely harder than any diet I've ever been on. I know that everything is going to be worth it in the end!

Today I went to my first appointment since my surgery one week ago and I HAVE LOST 15 LBS!
I was totally in shock! Even though I can't really tell probably because I look at myself everyday. My mom and others kept telling me that I already looked thinner but I didn't believe them. I was so excited when the nurse told me "Good job, you've lost 15lbs." A huge smile immediately came across my face. I was so proud of myself. I have NEVER EVER lost 15lbs within 1 week. I must say I was getting a little depressed a couple days home from the hospital. The liquid diet has been driving me crazy and I was starting to doubt my decision during this first week. Well, I just felt I needed to share my great moment this week. Post soon! XOXOXO

Hi! Sorry its been a while since I've posted. I have been trying to get through this first week. I tell you it hasn't been easy. I'm up and about already hardly taking any pain meds which is good. The first couple of days were the hardest. This liquid diet sucks major ass! I haven't been or anything yet so far, thank god. Everything I "eat" i can pretty much keep down. On Tuesday I go for my first appointment post-op. I hope he doctor moves me to the pureed stage at least. Well, I keep you guys posted. so far so good.  XOXOXO

 I'm in the waiting room in Overlook Hospital in NJ. My nerves are going a mile a minute. I hope and pray that I made the right decision. I'm sure everything will be fine and I'll update as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone that has been supportive throughout this whole process and thank you to those who have been by my side the whole way ( my lobster). Wish me luck I should be in surgery in about 45 minutes.  XOXOXOXO

Ok so nervous is not the word! I'll be going in tomorrow at 8:30am to do my pre-op paperwork and will be hopefully in surgery by 10:30am. My nerves are killing me. The surgery is the only thing I have been thinking about since Friday. I hope and pray that everything will go well. I will post as soon as able to get on-line after wards. I'm two and a half days away from the big day! My surgeon's office called my today and let me know what time my surgery will be taking place. Its set 10:30am Monday morning I will be in surgery. I have to be at the hospital at 8:30am. Wish me luck! I'm super nervous!
