"He seemed very professional, down to earth, non-judgemental. I was thorough and explained everything. He took time to listen to my questions, concerns and fears. He was very re-assuring. I felt he was a champion for this procedure. The office staff has been fine. They took care of the insurance. I can't think of anything I didn't like. The only suggestions I could make is to have a pre-op meeting before actually being in the hospital, but I'm not really sure if anything would be gained by that. It just seems a bit strange to not see him again until the day of. I would recommend Dr. Aranow at this point to anyone. He seemed to emphasize aftercare quite a bit. There is a support group that meets at the hospital bi-weekly, which has been helpful pre-op and I suspect will be even more so post-op. At this point I would rate him a 9."
