"I first met Dr. Roye the day after he performed an open RYN on my Dad. That was in June of 2003. I honestly thought he was an intern, because my parents had raved so much about him, I expected him to be older. What a surprise to learn that the very handsome man standing on the other side of the bed was this amazing surgeon.
From my very first appointment, I knew he was the best choice. He is direct, honest and firm - he let's you know what the expectations are and how hard you'll have to work to be successful. Beyond the tough guy facade, I believe that he really cares a great deal about his patients and their success. I have never felt rushed with him - he takes the time to answer questions.
His aftercare program is incredible - you get a lot of support, regular follow-ups, etc. Not to mention that he actually comes to the monthly support group meetings! What other surgeon exhibits that much dedication to his patients? None that I know of.
There isn't anything that I don't like about Dr. Roye or his team. They have been absolutely incredible from day one and I wouldn't change a thing. "
