I am still in the research phase. but have pretty much decided to have the Rouen-Y bypass. My heaviest weight was 276 and I lost 72 lbs doing LA Weight Loss. I then got a fungal ear infection and rebounded 40 lbs. I have already had my consult and it appears both my insurance plans will probably cover the surgery. I will find out next week. I have come to realize that this surgery may save my life. I want to be healthy enough for my grandchildren who are two and four months. Here is to a new me!
3/7/07 Today I got my copy of The Dummies Guide to Weight Loss Surgery. I have already read the first two chapters and part of the third. So far, the book confirms I have made the right decision. I have my psych evaluation on Tuesday and the doctor's office was going to submit the paperwork for insurance this week. Now that I have decided to do this, I just want things to happen!
