Congratulations on your superb loss and on your great news. Looks like you will be making another one of your "goals" by December 12th. May God bless you and your new family.

Jodie, I was so proud of you tonight! You did a superb job and I was very moved. Since I didn't really know you until you were grown, It was interesting to see your younger pictures. I know that your Mom couldn't have been prouder of you! If Kathryn grows up to be 1/2 the daughter that you are, I will be so pleased! You are a true inspiration! I was inspired to do better by your speech, as I've gained a few over Christmas. I'm back on the bandwagon and going forward and will start journaling again soon! Love You, Michelle

Wow - WTG Jodie!! AWESOME!! I'm so proud of you!! I go back on 2-6 and my goal was to weigh 235 (same as when I got married) and this am I was 242.5, so we'll see if I even get there on my scales by next Fri. morning - LOL.. I doubt it.. Anyway - I have to lose about 85 more pounds to get to my personal goal of 160. Dr. N keeps talking about 145...ehhh that sounds a little low to me. There is a lady that I know that is my height and she is 160 and is in sizes 10 and 12. That is fine with me. I have no desire to be in 6's. But if I get to within 15 pounds of where he wants me to be, I think I'll be doing ok! :-) Have a great one, Jodie! I know you're so tickled to be where you are! Congrats!! - Michelle

It's a shame that I have to ck the internet to see how you're doing! LOL.. I apologize for not calling you, but I've been busy and not at home for the most part - or when I am, I've got something planned. I've reorganized my closets, gotten rid of all clothing that is not XL now, or a size 22 or under, so I had a lot to go through. I had people give me like 6 trash bags full of clothes that I had to sort, etc. I gave some to my sis in law, who is still in 22/24 and I kept the 18/20's. I wore a size 16 top that was my sisters the other day. If I buy something now its an XL -and it FITS!! LOL.. :-) I can't wait to hear about your excitement and the great things that this has done for you! I can tell in your last post that you're really excited and its only going to get better now! It does take a while I think to figure out your new self and what works and doesn't. It still is hard for me at times. I ate Sushi a couple of times since my surgery and when I went to Raleigh with my family shopping on Mon., I ate it and I threw up later in Belks at the 2nd floor Mall entrance right there at Crabtree!- freaked my mom out - LOL, but after that I was fine. I didn't chew up the seaweed wrapper well enough - I figured that out ...well you understand.. I won't go into specific details - LOL.. Other than that, I"m fine. I hit the 100 pounds lost mark and today is my 5th month anniversary. I appreciate your friendship and wanted to let you know how proud that I am of you! I hope to talk to you or see you VERY soon! Love, Michelle

Jodie - congrats on doing great! I'm so glad that you're able to eat something now and that you've had great success already losing and getting under the 40 bmi mark! :-) Love, Michelle
