Waiting to be banded

Hello All~
This is my first entry of my blog. I have been awaiting a lap-band for 6 months...it seems like forever. My insurance is awesome (so I am told) BCBS Federal, but my problem is that my surgeon changed hospitals so i have been stuck in limbo for quit a while. Anyway, tomorrow I have an appointment and I hope to get my surgery date...fingers crossed. I am getting very anxious, I just need to see an end.
I am a student (again at the age of 36) and I have an exam tomorrow and I just can't seem to stay focused. I keep wandering off and thinking about tomorrow. Lucky my appointment is before my exam, so at lease I will have an answer and the guessing game will end.
I would love to connect with anyone who has been banded or is waiting to be banded. I could really use the support!
