Almost 10 months out and I'm happy as can be.
I've lost a total of 116 lbs (from 286 to 170) since my surgey and my doctors expect me to lose at least 30lbs more by the end of the year. However, my weightloss has decreased drasticly due to not following my diet instructions. Another problem I have, which pretty much everyone has, is that I have tons of excess skin. (Uck!) But trust me, it's definatly worth going from a size XXXL to a M or a size 30/32 to a size 12.
People going to have this surgery always ask me what I would recommend to them.
My best advice is to stick to your diet, wether or not you are feeling good about your new size, because it could come right back!
In another news about my life, I moved to Petoskey, Michigan recently and I'm living with my awsome boyfriend, Jason. We have a new month old pug puppy named Simba. He's adorable!
I have so much energy and I'm so much happier about myself. I'm convinced this has been the best decision of my life.
