Still exploring all my options.  I am following the results of my two new friends, Crystal and Geri.  They had the VSG and that one appeals to me.  Saw my regular doctor yesterday, he is still pushing the Roux-en-y, due to the fact that its been around so long and there are more stats on that than on the VSG.  I did find out from one local surgeon that insurance companies do not yet cover the VSG(boo!) as they consider it to be in experimental stages.(just another cop out) I am trying to prepare myself by bike riding and cutiing back on all those wonderful goodies that are everywhere this time of year!  I received a handicap parking card today as I have lots of trouble walking , this just hit me hard.  I'm grateful for it, but I am too young for it !  My goal is to get rid of the handicap card ASAP...and the weight!   I welcome anyone's thoughts or suggestions.
