Hello OH Friends,

Just checking in for my 5 Month surgiversary.  I am down 106 lbs and down from a size 32/34 to a 22/24.  My quality of life is 150 times better.  And it is so nice to be able to shop in a store, rather than online.  I actually love to try on clothes now, where before it would make me so sad and depressed.  I will post a 5 mth pic soon...

Edited to include my measurements since I joined Curves, I have lost 70.25 inches!!

As of  this morning, I am down to 248 lbs, making my total loss 100.8!!    I am now a member of the Century Club!!  It took 9 months to acheive this goal but I DID it!!

Ok, I guess I just jinxed myself!  I have wicked pain in my left knee today!!  I guess it is time for the injection!

MY RA seems to be in remission!  I have not had any pain since I have lost this weight!  Did I say how much I love my RNY!?!  I also am only doing one Enbrel injection a month, yes I said month!!  Not weekly or every 2 weeks anymore!!

Well, today is my 4th Month Surgiversary and I am down a total of 95.3 lbs since my first appt with the Maine Bariatric Center and 69.5 lbs since my surgery on 6/25.  I can't tell you how much my life has changed for the better due to this WONDERFUL tool and the help of Dr Cobean and the staff at MBC and my friends on OH.com I am finally living my life!!    In this process I have found myself by overcoming depression and grown closer to Jesus Christ, I was baptized on October 7th and I love my new Church Family at Stroudwater Christian Church!!   In a couple years, I plan on going to their short term missions to Nicaragua and Guatamala.  I want to be in the best physical shape before I do.  But I will get there!!!

Well Folks! I am 3 months out today!  I have lost 59.5 lbs in that time. I can't tell you how happy I am that I had my RNY!!  It was the best decision I have EVER made to do for ME!  Since my 1st appointment on Feb 14th with the Maine Bariatric Center and Dr Cobean,  I have a lost grand total 85.3 lbs. My next goal is the century club! 

Today, I hit the 70 lb mark!! Booyah!! 45 lbs since surgery on 6/25!! I feel fantastic!

As of today, I now weigh 280.5 lbs. I have lost 42.5 lbs since Surgery!!! Woo Hoo!   I get measured monthly at Curves and here are my measurements since I joined in March 2007 (3 months preop).

I had my first post op appointment with Maine Bariatric on 7/26. They were very pleased with my progress. I can now start eating soft foods and moist meats. I have lost 30 lbs in the first month.  Still losing about a lb a day.  Monday I start back at Curves. Hopefully, it will start coming off faster! 

I am so happy, I stepped on the scale this morning and I am 297.5!!
