Rhonda, good luck with your upcoming surgery. I pray you have a healthy and speedy recovery. I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for you regarding s/f protein drinks.

wohooooooooo I had my heart cath yesterday. My heart is ok :) I am having vein spasms that is what caused me to fail the stress test. My cholesterol was really high triglic were over 600 and the other (cant think of what it is called) was over 300. I was put on lipitor and given clearance for my surgery :) I go today to the bariatric doctor. Hoping he will schedule me a date. Thank you for all your prayers. You are all in my Prayers :)

Thank you all for the prayers and wonderful words of kindness!!!! I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but i am encase someone looks here. For those who live in the Mayfield area or anyone who want to come. It does not matter where you had your surgery or if you are just checking in to it. There is a support group located in Mayfied at Jackson Purchase Medical Center (hospital in mayfield) It is held the Second Monday of Every month at 7pm central time. Dr. Argotte (the bariatric doctor) as well as Liz Choate (the nutrionist) try to attend every meeting! The meeting are held in the Community Conference Room. So whether you are just checking into surgery or whether you have had it and want the support of local peers. stop on in :) God Bless You All!!!

Well i finally after fighting with the insurance for a year gave up and tried for disablity.which was a battle but i finally won for them to tell my our income was to high. sooooooo husband took a family medical leave so that i would qualify for a medical card to get the surgery. I have had all my test and talked to the doctor twice. Dr. Argotte is wonderful!!!!!!!! I went today August 13th 2003 to schedule my surgery date. but when i got there i was shocked to learn i had failed the stress test and that they think i have an infection in my stomache. so now i have to go for a heart cath on tuesday and have an endoscope one day next week as well. Of course, dr argotte will not schedule the surgery til they know what is going on with my heart. So i am still waiting for my surgery date and also praying that my heart and stomache are ok. Will update later . Love this site!!!!!!!!!!!! rhonda
