I have been overweight since my kids were born and every diet I tried I would lose but gain it back and than some. My Drs. kept on telling me that I should go in and have a gastric done and I just refused. My brother had it done 6 years prior and he had gained some of his back and I didn't want that to happen to me but than I had a friend going threw it and I decided to do it. My surgery was 9/05/07. IT hasn't been an easy adjustment but I'm glad I did it. My blood pressure, chloesterol, and other things put a huge factor in my choice. I just want to be active with my kids again.
