Hello,
My name is Kelly I am married and have Two wonderful children. I have been large most of my adult life. My former Primary Dr. gave me tons of literature regarding Gastric Bypass Surgery about 3 years ago, then he mentioned it again about 1.5 years ago. In May of this year (2007) I met with my new Primary Care Physician and told him I had been looking into the surgery and I asked if he would help me get the ball rolling. My ball rolled so fast I did not have time to come up for air. I met with Dr. David Syn in Lubbock, TX on July 27th, 2007 and was approved by my insurance 2 weeks later. I had the surgery on 9/13/07 and I am amazed at how well everything has gone so far. My whole family and my co-workers have all been VERY supportive. I am 3 weeks and 3 days out and have been happy I decided to take this journey,
