Hello all and here goes.  I am offically three months out and have lost a total of 57 pounds.  I guess that is good.  I am having a hard time getting in my protein and my hair is starting to fall out.  So I have started to be religious in three protein shakes a day.  I hope this will curb any more hair loss.  I have begun to walk more and really enjoy it.  I do have much more energy and I am thankfull each day that god has allowed me to have the surgery.  I have had all of my labs drawn recently and they all came back with numbers of a healthy 20 year old.  I am 36!!!  I am so stoked about this!!!!!  Well I must go need to get some sleep.  I hope all is well with everybody.

Hello all and I am updating you as to what has been happening.  I am one month and a week out from my surgery.  I am down 41 pounds and feel great.  I have went down one whole size in pants and a size in tops too.  I just wish I could loose a little bit of the ta ta tas.  I will always have big boobies I guess.  I am starting to eat ground meat and it is doing fine. I have much more energy since I got my b12 shot and feel totally energized.  I thank God every day for allowing me to have had this surgery and to begin to really live.  God bless to you all and post more later.

Hello again and I am just checking in to let everyone know what is going on.  I am almost three weeks out and I feel good.  i have had no more bleeding from the hiney, or vomit.  I do think it was my nerves that flared things up.  I have been eating cottage cheese and it is ok I guess.  I do not like it like I used too, weird.  I have been taking my protein from liquid form and all is ok with that.  I am down 31 pounds and I am trying to not weigh myself everyday.  It is very had to do though.   I do have much more energy and now that the girls will be starting school this Monday I will be able to get back on track with  my exercise regimene (sp).  I ahve asked my husband to draw up some exercises for me from the Air Force that they use in PT so I will be able to do them with him on his days off. I have to go back to the doctor's office on the second of Sept.  I am looking forward to eating poached fish again.  Well gotta go the girls are at it again.

Hello everybody and boy do I feel great!!!!!  I am soo happpy I did this surgery.  I feel like I have a second chance at life again.  I am a little emotional but this too shall pass.  I am looking forward to being able to have  a piece of toast.  I am still al little bruised and swollen though.  I am able to do almost anything I need to do, I can not lift anything more than 10 pounds for the next week, but that is ok.  We are getting ready for school here it will start the 18 and my twins are ready to go.  I will be the one who will have to get used to it again.  Well just a quick update is all.

Hello again and here we are 4 days out and I can't wait.  I only have two full days of the liquid diet so to speak of and I am looking forward to having an ounce fill me up.  I have had some very vivid dreams and wonder what my life will be like after the weight is gone.  I know I will look different however I hope and pray I do not loose my personality and such.  I have a strong faith in God and feel he will help me through everything.  The one thing I am really looking forward to is not having the feeling that people are judging me due to my weight.  Gotta go.

Well I am now on the liquid diet prior to surgery which is scheduled for the 31st of this month July.  I am so freaking hungry I can hardly stand it.  I have lost 6 pounds in water weight so far and that is cool I guess.  I have talked to other RNY patients of different doctors and they did not have to do all the liquid until two days prior.  What gives???  I know it is to shrink my liver and so forth but man it is so hard when yhou have to cook for your family and then clean up after.  It is very hard but I am hanging on.    I am kinda scared about the surgery and know that I am in good hands, yet I still feel a little nervous.  So this is all I will write for now and I thank you for viewing.

Well I drove all the way to see Docator Hornbostel today and boy was it worth it.  I got there 45 minutes early and had to fill out some paper work and such.  I was then taken back and spoke with Marge and then the doctor himself.  I was told that I was a prime canidate for the surgery and my dates are as follows.  I hve a EGD on the 16th of july and see the internist the next day on the 17th.  I then begin my liquid diet and my surgery is on the 31st of JUlY.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOOO HOOOOO I am on cloud nine now.  Well must go need to sleep.  HUGS

Hello all and here I am again.  I was just informing you all that I got my call from Margie and I have my first appointment on the 4th of June.  I can not wait!  I am soooo very excited.  I am looking so forward to haveing the surgery I can almost scream.  School is slmost out and boy am I happy.  My twins will be happy too.  Well it is late 1:30 am and I have to get up at 3:45.  Write more when I know more.  Love and hugs to you all.

Well I am sure that they have all of my info at the doctors office.  I called and made sure I did not have to fax anything else.  I guess i am just waiting on the military to get their butts in order.  I can not stand this, I want to get things going and be done with it.  I want to start my new life with out Byetta shots!  I hope I hear from them soon.  I have church camp starting in June 15-21 and I will be needed to teach a few class to the youn children, I will postpone church if need be.  However I really donot want too.  It is way too much fun there and this is the first time I get to have my twins with me.  Must go now it is late and I have to be  up at 6 am.  Thank goodness it is now Friday!  Blessing to you all.

Well I finished the psych portion of the WLS task.  I answered 567 questions and most of them were the same question worded differently.  Not to hard to catch on too if you know what I mean.  DUH!!! LOL.  I go to my seminar May the 4th and I am so happy and excited.  I pray this is what the good Lord wants me to do.  I have been hearing tons of good things about this surgery and hope it is God sending it to my ears.  I am looking forward to living, and enjoying life once again.   Well enough now, have to study for a while.
