I had my Rouxeny surgery on October 22, 2007. weighed 275. I am now down to 225. In many ways the surgery has been easier than I had figured it would be. I worried and researched this for about 1 year before my surgery. I had no problems with insurance approving this or anything. I asked my primary care doctor about this the first of August, 2007 and was scheduled for surgery by September 1, 2007. I was actually shocked by how easy all the paper work was. I just had a surgery on 1-31-08 because I was not drinking enough water and devolped a kidney stone. I am now measuring out my water to make sure I get enough.
