"5/01/02: Dr. Pilcher is wonderful. I had my surgery on 4/16 and had a follow-up with him today. He is very through and a very personable person. I feel very fortunate to have him as my surgeon.
2/18/02:I have had my first consultation with Dr. Pilcher and he is wonderful! Very considerate and thorough in explaining this procedure and answering all the questions that I, and my husband, had. All the staff were great! On your first consultation, you will see a dietitian, behavioral RN, a film and then see Dr. Pilcher. He quickly wrote and sent off my preauthorization letter to my insuance. Now, I am anxiously waiting for an answer from Humana. There was nothing we (me and hubby) did not like about him, he made us feel very comfortable. One thing I would suggest is that you have your physician call in and refer you to his office. I had an appointment 07/2003 and then I went to my OB/GYN and he called and I had an appointment within 2 months (2/02). MUCH FASTER!!! He is very knowledgable. I truly have nothing negative to say from my first visit. The practice also has a support group which we attended and found very imformative. The only thing that scared me is when patients started showing off their scars... quite a surprise! "
