so day 3 is here and almost gone! i am doing well, not sucking the pain meds down and walking and shopping as much as i can!!! trying to figure new ways to eat itty bitty amounts... AND ENOUGH WITH THE GAS BUBBLES!!! the hardest part about all of this is i can not pick up my son, he is a 1 year old momma's boy... my mom is here to help (thank God) but wish my hubby was here to help too, i know he is worried about the whole deal! but when uncle SAM calls....  i am down 7lbs!! in 3 days are you serious!!!! i could not do that in a month b4... Amazing...

OK so here i am, sitting here on the couch stressing about the pop quiz i am getting on Monday the 13th, yes that's only 6 days to cram... I have children for Gods sakes... this is not going to be easy, but i can do it... My strength will be here in a couple days to help me, otherwise i dont know i could do it with out her!!! So it started out at 1125 this morning i was feeding my son lunch and the phone rings, i answer and a cheerful voice says "is this Melissa King" and i of course say yes! and she says this is Kristen from Dr. Todd's office and i can see that everything in done and ready for your final appt with Dr. Todd... so can we see you Thursday of this week? (1st off that's only a couple days but this i can do) so i said yes i can... then she said well Dr. Todd gave me some surgery dates for July (I was thinking in like 2-3 weeks) i said OK what are they? and she said "well i have Monday the 13th"!! ( ARE YOU KIDDING ME) i was in complete shock! so i told her to schedule it and i would figure life out here!!! so i call my mom 1st thing, and tell her she has to get packed she is back to AK in only 4 days!!! so i get ready to go and go to the tricare office and talk to them, at 1st all was going OK... till they started telling me stuff i did not want to hear!!! 1st I DONT THINK SO was they are flying my mom to Anchorage NOT Fairbanks, which is not OK because i am driving to Anchorage because of my kids!!! Then the 2nd OH HELL NO was they told me after we drive back to Fairbanks my mom will only be here 2 days... i have a 1 year old who doesn't walk yet and is way over the 10lb point... so here I sit at 0420 waiting and not sleeping till the place to beg for an exception to policy opens... I can not do this alone!!! Updates coming soon!!!
