So, I went to the doctor yesterday morning to check into getting a Rx for Iron.  Well, I told myself and the hubby that I would NOT look at the scale when they weighed me because I want to be completely surprised when I go to my 2 week post-op appointment next week.  Well.................that didn't happen.  I have lost 34 pounds since the last week in December!!!!  (I went in the Thursday before my surgery on Tuesday)  I am still blown away by this!!! 

I am going on 5 days post op.  Its been a very gassy ride.  I don't know what is worse the surgery itself of the gas pain afterwards. 

My husband and daughter have been the best 2 nurses I could ask for.  My poor hubby has to do everything now.....I have a drain in and it is just a big ole' pain in the butt!!  So, it makes it kind of hard to shower on my own and even use the potty.  So there he stands right by my side holding the little bulb. Thank you Jesus for giving me such an awesome hubby!! 

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to introduce some new foods to my liquid diet.  I have eaten my fair share of Jello, applesauce, and cream of chicken soup.  I'm ready for something new.
