Wow Three Years

Sep 16, 2009

It has been 3years since I had my Gastric Bypass surgery, and I feel great I started this journey weighting in at 272. I now weigh in at 169 I am between 164 to 169 I have not gave up on the idea of getting to my goal of 135 I feel I just have to apply my self.It can be done i know it can. This web site has been a blessing to me, I have found friends on here and I have found alot of help on here.I would tell anyone thinking about having this surgery to really make sure you are doing it for yourself because it takes WORK. You may get surgery on your stomach, they do not operate on your mind, if you don't change how you look at food you will gain all your weight back. So PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK ALL THE INFORMTION OUT JUST FOR YOURSELF. The next thing I would say is to Put God First, let the Lord guide you in your decision He will never lead you wrong.I would like to say to everyone thinking about this BE STRONG AND BE ENCOURAGED IF THE LORD DID THIS FOR ME HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU ALSO         GOD BLESS YOU ALL  SHARON

Hello Again...

Jan 22, 2008

First off let me say Happy New Year to everyone. Since I was last on here we have moved again(this time to stay). I recently had surgery on a hernia that developed as a result of my bypass surgery(which is "normal"). I started a second job at Target(just for the discount on the clothes) I am trying very hard to follow my doctors orders but anyone who is a wife or a mother knows that is hardly easy. The last time I was on here my weight was 179 and now I am 155. I have some new pictures so you can see my progress. Good luck to everyone and God Bless you all! Stay in touch.
