Dr, Vafa was great, he was so good. He explained everything to me, and answered all my questions. Good to hear I can go home after having the band put on, don't have to stay overnight! His last statement was " if you chose me as your surgeon than I will get the next step rolling" O I told him well lets get rolling LOL!!! So the office will send over some pre op labs I need before I can have the surg. Very happy to know I don't have to get a stress test. Just all lab work, and a urinalysis, o ya and a esophogram. So happy will be calling my pcp nxt week to set up all testing. I want this surg 1st week in June...... So i will see.......

Well today I head to the meet the surgeon who will be doing my band. I hope I can go for surgery the 1st week in June, but I'll see what he says, I do know there will be pre-op testing, stress test, labs, etc.... my goal is to knock it out in one week, but o well we will see

Well today I got my referral form to see the surgeon, Little upset because I told my PCP which one I wanted to see, but he took it upon his self and switched it , same grp, different surgeon, I really wanted Dr. Cahill, but I guess my PCP thought a different way.

Hello to all my OH family, well went to the PCP today and he stated" I will send your papers to the insurance company, everything should go fine, It will take a week , so look out for the mail" I was so happy!!!!!I really wanted to jump out that seat, so need prays I so hope they approve the surg...........

... The fat md i saw today said " O i signed off on your file yesterday to see the surg me and your PCP" I was so excited.. everything is working its self out. Tom I go and see my PCP to ask for that ref, I so happy!!!!!!This has been a long 12 months, that d*m BCBS/IL LOL!!!!!!

Well tom I go and see my fat md, my pcp told me i have to see her one more time in order for him to give me a ref to see Dr. Cahill.....So i got a trick for his ass... i will see her on wed, and him on thurs.. dont play with me because she will say " o you will have to see your pcp for a ref" already scheduled.. will update tom after appt. lets see what she says....

well tom is the PCP i will be getting b/p rechecked, and getting ref to see Dr. Cahill, I'm so happy!!!! My last weigh in is tom as well, so happy this is OVER, well this part, this year long program has taught me alot of things, I can say that.....Let's see what tom will bring?
