So, I have been reading a lot today and had my first "maybe I shouldn't do this" moment. I was fearful that I would be one that ended up not doing what I need to make the band work. But I am revitalized now. I must do this for me and in the process I will use the website, my FitDay journal and discussions with people about all kinds of things to keep me focused. I want to RUN FAST, SHOOT HOOPS, HIKE, RIDE BIKES, GOLF, I want my ACTIVE LIFE BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am now ready for the gauntlet! Will be at the Doc 11/2 for my tests. Same week for psych. Then the surgeon beginning of the following week and in for surg by end of November.   WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!

I had an appointment at my PCP and will have a consultation iwth him next Friday. I emailed the program coordinator at the surgery center and am hoping that I hear something early in the week.

I am signed up for a seminar on Monday. I see my regular internist Monday and I have already spoken to the insurrence company. WOW.......Lots to think about. Today I participated in a 5k walk....I did the whole thing and was disappointed that my life has come to wondering if I could even walk 3.5 miles. A far cry from the 26 miles a day I used to ride my bake. But at least I made it. I am signing up for one a month to see my progress of fitness as time goes on. My very good friend came with and she will doubtless remind me of this down the road if we do another and I am in better shape. !!!!!!!!!!!
