I have always been over weight, and when I quit smoking 7 years ago, I got even bigger. got high blood pressure, and the usual aches and pains. My girlfriend and I decided to go to the Bariatric treatment center (now Barix's). we had our surgery 3 weeks apart, she went first because I still had my stress test, sleep test to do...when I was ready and had a date (4/16/2002) I weighted 307 lbs. lost over 100+ pounds..5 years out now I gained a little back and trying to lose it...again
1-14-2008-- well its been about 7 years now, doing good, but have gained some weight back, and trying to lose it again. I was thinking of having a revision done, I even called the barix treatment center to ask about it. but I don't know if my insurence will cover it, or how much I would have to pay....:-( I will write more later....bye....
