Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know I got to come home yesterday. I spent the first night in ICU, because my O2 sats were low during surgery. The worst part was the ng tube, after that it was the pain from the gas. I could have done without the morphine too. I kept making them take me off the meds, cuz they make me feel worse. Tordol, and some Robaxin, and some other junk, until finally, they just took out my iv, and I felt much better! Things are great at home, I can't believe I am not hungry at all. I am taking my flinstones vitamins. I am still a little leery about swallowing a pill. Scares me a bit. I need to ask my doc if I can get set up on taking vitamin shots instead. That would be best. Well, God bless everyone. I had surgery on Wednesday, and I will be back in school on Monday...Just like I said I would. You can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST! Praise God!

Kimberly, I have been watching to see if you go to Dr.G's site for his patients but I guess I haven't seen 1 from you. I want to let you know I will have you in my thoughts and my prayers even though I will not be able to stop by and check on you.. But if things go right you will have a special visit from someone to encourage you on your way .. I am now 20 days post-op and have lost 33lbs. and many clothing sizes.. God be with you Shelby ford.
