I passed my year mark!
Apr 30, 2008
Well I passed my year mark this month. I am sad to say my total weight loss has been 76.4 lbs. I reached that before Christmas. I have slacked off MAJOR since then, not getting a fill so I could celebrate through the holidays and such. I gained back about ten pounds. I recently got a fill, and am trying to relose the weight I gained back. It has been very hard to get back into the groove of things for me. I am going to go back to college and begin work on my second degree certificate. This ispired me to set a goal to lose 30 pounds before school starts in August. Here's hoping!
Reached a goal!

I have lost 74.4 lbs now. That is exciting! My goal had been to hit 70 by Christmas. Now I am trying for 75. I enjoy making small goals and then seeing them acheived. It makes thing seem like they are happening faster. I hope to have lost 100 lbs by my year anniversary in April. We will see how it goes!
Doing good

66 pounds now at my 8 month mark. Feeling pretty good, though it seems things may have slowed down a bit. I have been adding a bit more exercise though I tend to feel hungrier whenever I have finished. I hope things will continue to come off!
It all good

Well I am two weeks out now. I have lost 18 lbs. I already feel like I need a fill. Everything has healed well and other than some fatigue I feel pretty good.

I am just a couple of days out from my surgery now. I am overwhelmed with feelings of excitement as well as trepidation for the unknown. I have received huge support from my family and my husband's workplace (he is the charge nurse at the hospital he works for). The thing I am having the hardest time with is to leave my 6 month old and three year old at home to go to Mexico for 4 days. I know it will be worth it in the end, but my heart strings are tied tight to my children. I just keep trying to tell myself that it is better for them in the end.
