I am 33. I have been wanting to have weight loss surgery since I was 26. I have another profile on Obesity Help, from a long time ago, that I lost the password to.
Back then, I was stuck with an insurance policy [UNITED HEALTH CHOICE PLUS - YOU SUCK!] that had an iron-clad written exclusion against any and all weight loss help.
My job switched to Mutual Assurance Administrators in January and I am in the process of having the office of surgeon that I want to do my procedure, James Wellborn, check out my plan for me to see if LAP BAND is covered.
I am crossing my fingers!
