What a journey it been
Sep 17, 2012
For me this journey has been filled with so much emotion, it's been at times hard to proses them all. However I'm here, there have been some cuts and bruises along the way, even some sorrow and pain, but when all is said and done I've made it.
As I started this journey, I had the love and support of my Mother, Husband, Children and many others as well. It meant the world to me that everyone was there, I think in the beginning my Mom was the one who kept me on my toes, asking questions, and going to bat for me when other thought I shouldn't have this operation. Now I'm nearing the surgery date and she's no longer with us. She became very Ill this winter and in February she passed away. I miss her very much. I'm so grateful that she was with me and supported me so much. I know should would be so excited to know that its just a matter of day away.
If losing my Mom wasn't enough, my husband finds a lump in his neck in March, and in June was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphom. Thank God he's doing remarkable and the chemo treatments have worked. as of Sept he's in remission, he'll have to finish off his chemo and my need some radiation, but the cancer is gone. I don't know what I would do with out him. I'm so grateful that the chemo worked and that he didn't get to ill from it. He is tired and from time to time he gets an upset stomach but other the that he's do amazing.
As for my amazing Children, All are doing well and are in school, my eldest son is in trades for mechanic, and is getting Married in July. His bride to be is wonderful. my second eldest is in university for BA in linguistics, he now speaks 4 languages English, French, Japanese, Mandarin, He'll graduate next year. and last but not lest my daughter is in collage too. She's taking Youth and Child care worker. I think that shes' going to be amazing at it. She's an amazing girl. Well I thing they're all amazing. :)
