Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 86 pounds!!! Good luck
Kris - congratulations on making it through your first 3 weeks post-op! From your posts it sounds like you are doing wonderful! Best wishes for continued success with your new tool to a happier, healthier life! Isn't Dr. Krause just awesome!

Hey ALL,
I just spoke with Kris, he sounds drugged but really really well. He said all went fine, they had him sitting up in a chair and the blow-up dolls on his legs, lol.
He said to tell you all HI, and he's doing well.
I just spoke with the Hospital, Kris is in surgery and doing fine.
As soon as I speak to some family and have exact information I will let you know. - Kelli / Indiana
May God Bless and keep you close at his side as you go through this journey. You must be very excited and nervous all at the same time. This will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself and your family. I know it was for me. Remember you will have ups and downs. You can always turn to your AMOS family for support. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Good luck and God Bless!!!
