I decided today to postpone my surgery until December 14, 2009.
Here are my reasons:
1. I am still healing from my neck surgery and I am not released from wound care yet
2. I have SOOOO mnay co-morbities that I don't want to over stress my body.
3. I will have a longer recovery time if I bump up to my winter break.
I am a little disappointed, but I know it is the smart decision for me... It's only two more weeks.

I am prepping for my stress-echo test and called Dr. Davidson's office to update them. They said it was time to submit for final insurance approval. We decided on a surgery date... November 25, 2009...the day before Thanksgiving.
I am so excited!!! ...Not excited about starting the three weeks of liquid diet, but it too is the start of my new life!
