 Well my day finally got here, and the hard part is over.  I was 242 the day I was banded, and I'm now 236, so it's a start, atleast the scales are
finally moving in the right direction.  The hardest part is trying to find liquids and not drinking before during and after, as I stay thrirsty all the time.  

Strange, usually my B/P is 140/96 and I haven't had any high blood pressure since surgery.  I've been watching it, but it stays normal.  I'm glad of that, and I'm not staying as hot as I usually do.  

I do have a time getting in my protein, I just don't want anything but water and unsweet decaf tea.  

I did have a rough night the night of surgery.  I usually take ambein cr and a muscle relaxer to sleep, but since I couldn't have any thing by mouth untill the next day I didn't get my meds and they gave me atavan through IV, and than some phernergan, but they didn't mix and I was up with drive heaves, and they gave me more phenergan and it made it worse.  I finally got over that and got some sleep.  The next morning had my upper GI, it was so nasty.  Drink that on an empty stomach.  I can give you a clue, although you  can't have anything, you can swish you mouth to stop the dryness and spit it back out.  And they did let me have a mint or gum.  And for sure ask them if you can rinse out after the GI is done. 

Well I'm on the losing side and feeling great.

I'm excited, I get to finally meet my doctor tomorrow.  I dread the drive but atleast it's a start.  I'm still not sure about the gallbladder problems yet.  I will have tests for them on Mon.  Than maybe they will know what is going on.  Untill then I'm on a new anti acid pill, 2 times a day untill help arrives. lol.   I use to take Nexium 40 mg but they changed me to this.  I started back taking the Nexium about a month ago, thinking it was just acid build up that was making me sick.  But I will be sure to post some tomorrow night.  I'm just so excited..  

Well some of my excitement has left me.  I lost my dad on June 21st, and nothing is very exciting lately.  Need prayers to get me through all of this.  It's just lonely with out him.  

I go back to the doctor July 20 so that she can finally send a medical clearance, she was suppose to have sent that months ago and find out she hasn't yet.  Family doctors aren't much anymore.

Hey I finally got a date for surgery.  It's Sept. 20th.  I can't believe it's almost here.  I think the girl in the office was having some problems cause it took her months to get me approved and a new girl called me and said she was gone and I'm approved and called back Mon. and gave me a date.  Just waiting now..
