Time Brings About A Change

Nov 27, 2006

Well it's been a little over one year since I had surgery. I had surgery on August 15, 2005 one day after my 41st birthday.  I've learned alot going thru this surgery.  I have found you can fail if you have not learned to deal with the stress and burdons of your life.  Many problems and excuses I finally realized I had to let go of.

I have struggled with my weight now over 21 years after delivering my first son.  I was comfort food eater.  If I couldn't pay a bill, I'd eat, if I was having relationship problems I'd eat, if I could cope with my stress on the job i'd eat.  I just recently realized when I was beginning to go back to those old ways.  That Hey I didn't go thru all of this to fail, I went thru this to achieve a great grasp on me and my life.  I did this to live and to be around to see my children grow up to me strong black men and to see my grands and hopefully my great grands.  I lost my husband during this time but I realized something in this also.  What God has for me is for me and can't no man take it from me.  So I'm beginning a new chapter in my life and I'm looking forward to the roads that my Father in Heaven shall lead me down.  Be Blessed, Stay encouraged and know that you are not alone in this journey.  Remember I've always said my life is a neverending story.
